Adventures of a Small Potato
The adventure begins.
A high-spirited and incredibly talented artist - Tori Ratcliffe approached us looking for a website and visual brand for her new passion project, Adventures of a Small Potato. Inspired by her dog named Spud, Adventures of a Small Potato is a blog-style website that offers information on dog-walking routes in Edinburgh - with a view to include more locations as the site grows.
Sniffing out the solution.
Tori loved the idea of having a scrapbook theme for the website with a ‘Wes Anderson’ vibe. We created a stamp-like logo that would fit nicely with the scrapbook theme and included a playful illustration of Spud in the centre.
We utilised various visual assets, such as paper borders and tape, that would sit alongside the content to envoke a scrapbook feel all whilst remaining fully responsive and functional. The site was constructed in a way that allowed Tori to hop into the back-end and upload her own content, keeping her in control.
The team at Motion12 have provided the most excellent service, no problem was too small or benign for them to help me with at the drop of a hat. Really over the moon with them - I had a big online launch of new artwork so there was a lot riding on my website running smoothly and they were there every step of the way to help iron out any technical difficulties. Really very pleased and highly recommend!
